Originally from Australia, Jamie trained in acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and worked with all of Sydney’s major theatre companies before moving to New York in 1998 where he gained an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Music Theatre Writing Program. With his wife and collaborator, SoHee Youn, he has written several musicals including I Spy a Spy, produced off-Broadway by Eric Krebs in 2019.
